    Study of Communication in Interpersonal Relationships

    The study of verbal and nonverbal behaviours that lead to more effective interpersonal relationships. Includes the examination of self-concept, perceptions, emotions, language and behaviour that influence the climate in interpersonal relationships. Assertive communication and resolving interpersonal conflict are also studied. This course is of interest to persons interested in learning about increasing communication competence in family, social relationships, teaching, business, counselling and mental health.
