    Community-Engaged Learning and Public Humanities

    A capstone course organized around opportunities for community engagement and experiential learning in an applied situation with an emphasis on public-facing literary or cultural writing in various digital and/or print media; students apply their research and writing skills in a community setting. Possible engagements include working with local literacy initiatives, independent theatre or social justice organizations.
