Teaching Oral French

Theoretical and practical elements of teaching French as a second language for the general classroom teacher. Introduces teaching strategies to promote communication with purpose and confidence, effectively teach language acquisition, select authentic learning resources, use technology and immerse students in Francophone culture. Language of instruction includes both French and English. Provides opportunities to increase proficiency in French, incorporate First People's Principles of Learning and expand appreciation of Francophone cultures.
